Dear Voter
I am honored to announce my candidacy for Macomb County Circuit Court Judge. I've stood at the intersection of law, humanity, and justice for over 14 years. I’ve devoted my career to protecting constitutional rights, seeking truth, and ensuring that everyone I encounter in court is treated with fairness and dignity. These experiences have shown me that justice takes many forms but it must always be grounded in integrity, respect, and balance. I will bring to the bench a wealth of trial experience, a deep respect for the law, and an unwavering commitment to justice in all its forms. I will bring courage to stand firm in what's right, empathy for those before me, and a reminder to every person who enters the courtroom that the justice system belongs to them. I hope to earn your vote.

For more than fourteen years, Mariell Lehman has worked in courtrooms as a trial attorney across Macomb County and Southeast Michigan, representing real people facing real consequences. She has practiced in every Macomb County courthouse and has seen firsthand how important the role of a judge is to victims, defendants, and the community.
Judges are trusted with decisions that affect people’s lives for years, sometimes forever. They safeguard our communities. This responsibility requires experience, integrity, a commitment to justice, the willingness to listen and the courage to make decisions based on what is right and not what is popular. Mariell brings those qualities to the courtroom every day as an attorney and will do the same as a judge.
